Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking any service. By scheduling an appointment, making a payment, or using any service provided by Sapphire Shine Auto Detailing & Protection Specialists, you agree to be bound by the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with booking.

Services
Sapphire Shine Auto Detailing & Protection Specialists ("Sapphire Shine," "we," "us") provides fully mobile auto detailing and vehicle protection services throughout Westchester County and surrounding areas. All services are performed at the client's specified location.
Service packages, pricing, and inclusions are as described on our brochure and website at the time of booking. We reserve the right to modify service offerings at any time with reasonable notice.

Booking & Appointments
All appointments must be booked in advance via our website, phone, or approved booking platform.
Bookings are confirmed only upon receipt of a confirmation from Sapphire Shine.
We reserve the right to decline or reschedule any appointment at our discretion.
Clients are responsible for ensuring their vehicle and location are accessible at the scheduled time.

Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand that schedules change. To respect our time and yours, please note the following:
24-hour notice is required for all cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost.
No-shows without prior notice will be charged the full service amount.
Sapphire Shine reserves the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, no cancellation fee will be applied to the client.

Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept all major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other approved payment methods.
Membership plan payments are billed on a recurring monthly basis. By enrolling, you authorize Sapphire Shine to charge your payment method on a monthly cycle.
Membership cancellations must be submitted at least 7 days before the next billing date to avoid being charged for the following month.
All prices are subject to change. Existing membership rates will be honored for the current billing period.

Vehicle Condition & Pre-Existing Damage
Sapphire Shine takes great care with every vehicle. However, clients must be aware of the following:
Sapphire Shine is not responsible for pre-existing damage, including but not limited to scratches, swirl marks, chips, rust, worn paint, or interior wear.
Clients are encouraged to document any pre-existing damage prior to service.
For heavily soiled, neglected, or damaged vehicles, results may vary. We will communicate realistic expectations before commencing work.
Sapphire Shine reserves the right to refuse service on vehicles deemed unsafe or unsuitable for detailing.
06 —
Liability
While we treat every vehicle with the highest level of care, Sapphire Shine's liability is limited as follows:
Our liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. Claims submitted after this window may not be honored.
Sapphire Shine carries liability insurance. Documentation is available upon request.
Vehicle Operation
By booking a service, the client authorizes Sapphire Shine to operate or reposition the vehicle as necessary to perform the requested services. Any such movement is carried out at the client's risk. Sapphire Shine is not liable for any damage or loss arising from the necessary operation of the vehicle during service.
Chemical & Cleaning Process Authorization
The client authorizes Sapphire Shine to use professional-grade chemical cleaning solutions, compounds, polishes, extraction methods, and other standard detailing products on both the interior and exterior of the vehicle. By booking, the client releases Sapphire Shine from liability for any outcome arising from the proper use of these industry-standard detailing processes.
Battery Discharge
Sapphire Shine is not responsible for battery discharge during or following service. Interior detailing requires doors, trunk, and other access points to remain open for extended periods, which may affect the vehicle's battery. Clients are advised to inspect that all interior lights, headlights, and electronic accessories are off upon completion of service. Any issues arising from battery discharge are the sole responsibility of the client.
Extreme Vehicle Conditions & Surcharges
Sapphire Shine reserves the right to apply an additional surcharge for vehicles found to contain excessive pet hair, urine, vomit, blood, feces, biohazardous materials, or any condition deemed hazardous or beyond standard detailing scope. In such cases, the client will be notified before work proceeds. If the client declines the surcharge, Sapphire Shine reserves the right to cancel the appointment without refund of any deposit paid.
Right to Refuse Service
Sapphire Shine reserves the right to refuse or cancel service at any time if a client is disrespectful, abusive, or threatening toward our staff, or if the vehicle or location is deemed unsafe or unsuitable for service. In such cases, a cancellation fee may apply.
Photo & Marketing Rights
Sapphire Shine reserves the right to photograph vehicles before, during, and after service for quality assurance and marketing purposes, including use on our website, social media, and promotional materials. All photos will exclude personally identifiable information. If you do not wish to have your vehicle photographed, please notify us in writing prior to your appointment.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute arising from our services, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith mediation before pursuing any legal action. Any unresolved disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Service Location Requirements
As a fully mobile service, Sapphire Shine requires the following conditions to be met at the time of service:
The client must ensure adequate space is available for our team to work safely around the vehicle on all sides.
If the service location is not owned by the client (e.g., an apartment complex, parking garage, or shared lot), the client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permission to have the service performed on the premises.
Vehicle keys must be accessible for the duration of the service if interior work is requested.
The working environment must be safe and legal. Sapphire Shine reserves the right to refuse or reschedule service if conditions are deemed unsafe, unsanitary, or unsuitable upon arrival.
If we arrive at the scheduled location and are unable to perform the service due to conditions within the client's control, a trip fee may be charged and the appointment rescheduled.
08 —
Service Time Estimates
All detailing time estimates provided at booking are approximate only. Actual service time may vary depending on the size, condition, and specific needs of each vehicle. Sapphire Shine is not liable for any inconvenience caused by services taking longer or shorter than estimated.
We reserve the right to alter, delay, or reschedule a booking due to weather conditions, equipment failure, staffing issues, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will notify the client as soon as possible and reschedule at no additional charge.

Membership Program
Membership plans are offered on a monthly recurring basis and are subject to availability.
Members receive priority scheduling, exclusive access, and consistent showroom-condition service.
Membership benefits are non-transferable and apply to a single registered vehicle unless otherwise agreed.
Sapphire Shine reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue membership plans with 30 days' written notice.
Abuse of membership privileges or failure to maintain timely payments may result in membership termination.
10 —
Child Safety Seats
For the safety of your child and the integrity of the installation, Sapphire Shine will not remove, reposition, or reinstall child car seats or booster seats under any circumstances. Clients are asked to remove all child safety seats prior to their appointment. If a car seat remains in the vehicle, our technicians will clean around it to the best of their ability, but we cannot guarantee full results in those areas and accept no liability for incomplete cleaning in those sections.

Paint, Trim & Surface Limitations
Sapphire Shine takes every precaution to protect your vehicle's finish. However, clients should be aware of the following limitations:
Bird droppings, bug splatter, tree sap, tar, and other environmental contaminants can chemically etch into paintwork over time. Permanent marks or etching caused by these substances prior to service may not be fully removable through detailing alone.
Faded, cracked, or heavily oxidized exterior trim may be beyond restoration through standard detailing products and processes. We will communicate realistic expectations before beginning work.
Sapphire Shine is not responsible for pre-existing paint defects, clear coat failure, swirl marks, or surface damage that becomes more visible after cleaning or polishing.
Any concerns about paint condition should be raised prior to service so expectations can be properly managed.
12 —
Personal Belongings & Storage Areas
Clients are responsible for removing all personal belongings from the vehicle prior to service, including items stored in the glove compartment, center console, armrest storage, door pockets, and trunk. If these areas are not cleared, our technicians will be unable to fully clean them. Sapphire Shine is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or misplaced items left in the vehicle during service.

Pricing & Price Adjustments
All pricing is based on the vehicle's described condition at the time of booking. Sapphire Shine reserves the right to adjust the final price during or after the service if the vehicle's actual condition differs significantly from what was communicated at booking — including but not limited to excessive soiling, undisclosed damage, or the presence of hazardous materials. The client will be notified of any price adjustment before additional work proceeds.
All listed service prices are inclusive of applicable New York State and Westchester County sales tax. The tax component will be shown separately on your invoice or receipt as required by NYS law.
14 —
Late Payment
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. Invoices not settled within 24 hours of service completion will be subject to a 20% late administration fee added to the outstanding balance. Continued non-payment may result in the matter being referred for collections or legal action. Sapphire Shine reserves the right to withhold future bookings for clients with outstanding balances.
15 —
Client Responsibilities
Clients must ensure their vehicle is accessible, unlocked (if interior service is requested), and parked in a safe, legal location.
Clients are responsible for removing personal valuables from the vehicle prior to service. Sapphire Shine is not responsible for lost or missing personal items.
Clients must disclose any known issues with the vehicle (e.g., fragile trim, sensitive surfaces) before service begins.
16 —
Satisfaction Policy
Your satisfaction is our standard. If you are not fully satisfied with your service, please contact us within 24 hours of completion. We will make every reasonable effort to address your concern, including a complimentary re-service of the area in question at our discretion.
Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
17 —
Privacy
Any personal information collected during the booking or payment process (name, contact details, vehicle information) is used solely to provide and improve our services. We do not sell or share your information with third parties, except as required to process payments or comply with legal obligations.
18 —
Changes to These Terms
Sapphire Shine reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
